We are pleased to announce that Percy John Halligan, a former long-standing Fellow and Canterbury Branch Chairman, has made a significant bequest to benefit members, or intending members, of the Institute.
Mr Halligan died in 1997 and upon the death of his wife, Vera, a Trust bearing her name was formed. The Trust Deed provides for a study grant to a Canterbury resident, who is studying full-time or part-time for a management, business or accounting degree or diploma; or who has worked or practised business management or accounting for less than two years and is a member, or has the potential to become a member of the Institute.
We invite applications from suitable persons for this study grant. All applications should be addressed in writing to:
Mrs Rosanne Hawarden
PO Box 29-251
Mr Garth Snell
PO Box 4114
If additional information is required, please contact the Institute or freephone 0800 242 669.
