The Affiliates Group is made up of people who do not wish to study our examinations but are interested in matters pertaining to the Institute, such as corporate governance, risk management and company secretarial practice.
The CSNZ Affiliates Program is designed for people involved in corporate governance, compliance management and allied fields who want information, education and networking opportunities.
It meets the needs of business executives, government business managers, accountants and solicitors who wish to keep up-to-date with key corporate and legislative issues but are not yet eligible for membership of CSNZ.
Participants in this group receive The Chartered Secretary, newsletters, handbooks and invitations to Institute functions and seminars. This provides excellent opportunities to network with others in related areas.
You may not use our post-nominals or describe yourself as a "Chartered Secretary". Persons in the Affiliate Group are able to undertake subjects from our Professional Entry Programme for their own continuing professional development and, on completion, receive a "Certificate of Completion".
If you would like to join the Affiliates Program simply complete the Affiliate application form. The current Affiliate Group subscription is $250 per annum, including GST.

Please note that participation in the Affiliates Program does not give you membership status with CSNZ. Affiliates do not receive all the benefits available to CSNZ members, in particular, use of the full range of member services, use of our post nominals and the ability to use the professional description Chartered Secretary.
